Well, it's almost 2 in the morning, and I've finally gotten the site redesign finished with some MAJOR help from The Snipe. She's the one who gave me the nifty buttons, and the background that looks like curses (which is what I was doing while working on the damn thing). Ah...Tourette's. It's only temporary in my case, and I'm certainly not attempting to ridicule those who actually have the real affliction in any way.

The learning to cook is coming along gradually but, all in all, pretty well. I made an apple crumble that didn't suck, and have been getting dinner ready for Mike just about every night now when he comes home from work. Only problem I've found so far is that now I crave all manner of kitchen gadgets and appliances. *sigh* Now I know what to put on my birthday and Xmas Gimme Lists, eh?

The Shopping Links have been picking up steam, which is nice. I may not get loads of sales, but at least people are clicking through and checking things out. Thank you!

I'm still not a super rock star yet, and haven't been as diligent about practicing my bass as I could be. Life has ben intervening on a fierce level, and my brain just gets too tangled to even think about it. Plus, I can't find my stupid Tiger Balm anywhere, my shoulders are already in knots, and the thought of slinging the heavy bass around them to exacerbate those knots really doesn't appeal. But I gotta get my butt (and fingers) in gear, because That Bitch Crickett merchandise is already available to the masses. Now we just need to get me up to speed on the bass and get an EP recorded. We'll be touring in no time, says Mike.

Hey, if you're a cosmetic addict like I am, you might wanna check out Makeup Alley. It's got a messageboard that's devoted to beauty products (makeup and skincare) as well as a great reviews section and a swap program that I've been having loads of fun with.

Another nifty board to check out, if you've read "The Bad Girl's Guide To The Open Road" and/or "The Bad Girl's Guide To Getting What You Want" is the Bad Girl Swirl. Both books were written by Cameron Tuttle with illustrations by Susannah Bettag, and they're awesome. The site was also created by Cameron, and has numerous message boards for all you Bad Girls, Bad Girls In Training, and some Bad Boys too. I love this community and was away from it for far too long. It's nice to be back there, chillin' in the Swirl.

In other news, I re-dyed the hair, so it's back to bright pink with (new!) fuschia streaks in it. I'm really having too much fun with this hair colour, but since I'm still not getting any corporate work, I may as well, eh?

Countdown to Bliss! I can't wait, as I'm beginning to resemble a gorilla, and right after we're done having dinner with the friends who are accompanying us there, we get to go celebrate Dan's 30th birthday! Happy Birthday, there, old guy!

Well, that's all for now. It's late, I'm tired, and if Mike's gonna get to work on time for that deploy in the morning, I'd better drag him off to bed. Take care, be nice (especially when they don't expect it), but if you haven't anything nice to say....come sit next to me.
